One of the most astonishing phenomenons associated with Tyrian purple is how amazingly these small creatures interact with the different seasons!

Indeed l can tell that winter is looming just by looking at the shift in color.. Murex interacts with its surrounding elements including water temperature and this is reflected in the actual color.
